Culture Happens wishes all Indians a HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Today, India celebrates their 65 years of independence from British rule. For many, I suppose it’s just a day off from work. But for many others, especially the elderly, they can remember the exuberance of becoming a free nation, mixed with the violence of the Partition which was taking place at the same time.

I want to wish all Indians a Happy Independence Day.
